Tiles follow whatever is under them. If the slab has dips, so will your floor. Screeding and self-levelling is how we get the base flat before we lay.
It matters most in bathrooms. If the floor isn’t graded properly, water pools on the tiles when it should be running to the drain. We build that fall into the screed.

A laser shows us where the floor is out, and by how much.
We prime the surface so the screed or leveller bonds to it.
Sand and cement screed where we need thickness or a fall. Self-leveller where we need a flat surface quickly.
We leave it for the full curing time and check it again before we tile.
One room or the whole house. We keep the place tidy, tell you what’s happening each day, and leave you with a finish you’re happy to look at.
→Doing up a bathroom or a kitchen? We work in with your builder, plumber and cabinet maker, and we turn up on the days we say.
→Shops, offices and apartments. The SWMS, OH&S plan and insurance are sorted before we start.
→
The bigger the tile, the more it shows every dip in the floor under it. So we level first and lay second.
