“We believe that the set up of a job is just as important as the final outcome.”
Two recent showers. One is white subway tile in a brick pattern with a wide niche. The other is square tile laid in a straight grid, with a strip drain across the floor.
Small tiles mean hundreds of joints, and they all have to line up. The niches here are set out to suit the tile pattern, so there are no thin slivers around the edge.

Each niche is set out to line up with the tile joints around it.
The floor is graded to a strip drain, so water runs away.
Along the wall, around the corner and into the niche.
With small tiles, a crooked first row shows all the way up the wall. So we set out carefully.
Showers and wet areas are waterproofed to AS 3740 before we tile, and a certificate is supplied.
Grout in your colour and clean silicone in every corner.
